I was at work when all this happened. my fiance knew it wasn't me. her mom insisted I took a polygraph test. so I agreed to. I took the test. and failed. 2 weeks prior I had carpal tunnel surgery on my left wrist. I know I didn't do it. my fiance has since left me because she believes I did do it. I don't know what else I should do. I love her very much and and do not wanna be without her.ktkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03871881443470148618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072125047008275922.post-6953237907849066812012-08-30T16:54:05.231-07:002012-08-30T16:54:05.231-07:00I agree with Robert. I saw first hand how my brother was treated by police after he took that test.Ben Aymamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05223592277045003871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072125047008275922.post-48505406810088804552012-08-06T11:07:13.234-07:002012-08-06T11:07:13.234-07:00I think it's only useful for gauging the overa...I think it's only useful for gauging the overall level of cooperation of a suspect. Patsy Ramsey is a good example--victims of a crime who are not interested in helping law enforcement find who killed their child send up red flags.

Looking at someone's body language, words and ability to tell what happened in a way that doesn't change as they forget details (if it's a lie)is more telling than a polygraph.

Obviously it doesn't work for every case--there's too much room for human error in investigations. Sometimes it seems the detectives get stuck on one scenario and they overlook the signs that point elsewhere.Lara Martinezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12612794022120901724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1072125047008275922.post-83631567672464063362012-08-05T18:29:21.795-07:002012-08-05T18:29:21.795-07:00I have seen people cleared through polygraph. If you have an illness; go to the hospital and go into a room where you can see 10 Doctors separately about the illness. I'm prettty sure (75%) that you will not get the same diagnosis from all 10. Probably somewhere around 8 out of 10will come to the same conclusion. Now this is somethng we use daily and it could be the difference between life and death. Ann 80% chance and that could be evenn less or possibly more. Polygraph is not intended to be the "absolute". it is a tool that works very efficently. It is not 100% but it does a great job at clearing people and catching people.pddme094https://www.blogger.com/profile/14118844049843978511noreply@blogger.com
